Cosworth Factory Tour
We were delighted to have been invited to attend a tour of the legendary Cosworth factory in Northampton. We brought along some of our special clients who seemed to thoroughly enjoy the expereince
Home to many race winning engines, we were surprised to learn of the other business areas that Cosworth is engaged in, specifically the aerospace, military, energy and watersports industries.
The day starts off with refreshments and a chance to meet and greet other like-minded people, then we go through to a large meeting room where’s we’re shown an impressive array of new and existing products and projects. Then we have a very interesting Q&A session with their sales engineers, then the interesting part comes; a walk though of the factory to see whether the pistons, cylinder blocks and cranks are made, and then a (too short) visit to the F1 engine build shop and dyno cell to see where these legends are built and tested. Absolute heaven!
