April, 1985 | Completion of the new office building. (Present Fujinomiya factory). |
March, 1986 | Establish HKS Hokkaido Service Co., Ltd. |
September, 1986 | Develop 4-cylinder DOHC 2.0L, 5-valve engine (186E). Participated in GC race. |
October, 1988 | Release 2-cylinder DOHC engine (200E) for an auto race. |
January, 1992 | Develop V12, 3.5L, 5-valve engine (300E) for a race. |
June, 1994 | Start production of coil springs. |
March, 1996 | Establish HKS EUROPE LIMITED (Present Consolidated subsidiary) as the sales site in Europe. |
September, 1996 | Merge into HKS Sales Co., Ltd, and corporation name changed to HKS Co., Ltd. Release Horizontally-opposed 4-cycle, 2-cylinder engine for ultralight planes (A700E). |
June, 1999 | Over-the-counter registration of shares with the Japan Securities Dealers Association. |
August, 1999 | Newly establish the R&D facility (Head office) in Kitayama, Fujinomiya city, Shizuoka. |
May, 2000 | Acquisition of shares in NISSEI KOGYO Co., Ltd. (Present Consolidated subsidiary). |
June, 2001 | Establish HKS-IT Co., Ltd. (Present Consolidated subsidiary) for the investments to HKS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Present Consolidated subsidiary). Establish HKS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Present Consolidated subsidiary) as the sales site in South East Asian countries. |
February, 2003 | Establish HKS Technical Factory Co., Ltd. (Present Consolidated subsidiary). Establish LIFECARE MOBILITY INC. in the U.S.A for the sale of welfare vehicle parts. |

November, 2006 | Release GT Supercharger that employs torque sensing type traction drive method. |

September, 2012 | Establishment of HKS (SHANGHAI) TRADING CO., LTD (Present name: HKS(SHANGHAI)AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD, Present consolidated subsidiary) in China as a base of sales in China. |
July, 2013 | Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ (Standard) due to Osaka Securities Exchange integrated into Tokyo Stock Exchange. |
