The high-performance charge air cooler has the following mains dimensions (535mm x392mm x95mm = 19.9L). This results in a 175% larger flow area, as well as 226% more charge air volume compared to the original charge air cooler.
The new Competition high-performance network still provides sufficient airflow for adjacent components, such as the water cooler. The total weight of the charge air cooler, despite its size, is only 14.2kg. The aluminium casting end boxes were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal airflow.
An air duct integrated in the end box enables a homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance network. The inlets and outlets of the charge air cooler have been increased to 70mm. In addition, this kit includes a suitable carbon air flow to ensure an optimal flow of the charge air cooler. The high-performance charge air cooler has a compressive strength of up to 6bar (tested).
This kit is also suitable for racing. In addition, all our charge air coolers are coated with an anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity. This guarantees a long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Easy assembly and top quality.
