The Competition charge air cooler kit fits in the following vehicles:

Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VII *
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII *
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX

The high-performance charge air cooler has the following mains dimensions, 550mm x 390mm x 95mm/50mm in step design, and thus offers a flow area of 2145cm2 as well as an external charge air volume of 17.7 liters.

The new Competition high-performance network still provides sufficient air flow to adjacent components, such as the water cooler, despite its large-scale design, and is also very light. The total weight of the charge air cooler is only 9.2kg. The end boxes are made of thin-walled aluminium casting and have been optimized under flow analyses in the CAD system. The inlet or outlet has been enlarged to 80mm, so this kit comes with multi-layer reinforced silicone adapters.

The installation is carried out by replacing the OEM charge air cooler and is easy to carry out. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
