Toda Racing Clutch and Flywheel for Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ

Toda Racing has just launched a couple of new uprated clutch kits and an ultra-lightweight flywheel which has been developed to deal with high engine torque and to provide a more sporty engine characteristic.

The clutches are available as separate components or as complete kit. Both sharing the same heavy duty clutch cover that provides a high clamping pressure, but one friction disc has an uprated organic lining being more suitable for road use and mild racing, whereas the other has a cerametallic paddle type friction disc making it more suitable for high load and racing applications.

By reducing the overall weight to a meagre 5kg (and inertia to 0.59) the Toda Racing ultra light chrome moly flywheel provides much greater engine response in terms of acceleration and deceleration, and by paying particular attention to the balancing of the flywheel the engine feels silky smooth at all speeds.
