To optimise durability, further reduce friction and improve camshaft timing accuracy TODA Europe recommends that the S2000 Heavy Duty Timing Chain should be used in conjunction with the accompanying Heavy Duty Timing Chain Tensioner.
Designed specifically to overcome the standard oil pressure driven Honda automatic tensioner’s weakness of allowing the cam timing to slip under sudden engine braking, the TODA Heavy Duty Chain Tensioner is compatible with both the F20C and F22C S2000 engines and is designed to work with high compression engines with up to 1mm skimmed from the cylinder head.
